Banyan Gold Corp. Announces $58 Million Private Placement Offerings

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE), Banyan Gold Corp. (TSXV:BYN) (OTCQB: BYAGF) has announced a significant fundraising initiative, entering into an agreement with Canaccord Genuity Corp. to conduct a best-efforts private placement of up to 25,000,000 shares at $2.00 per share. The offering is expected to raise gross proceeds of up to $50,000,000 and is scheduled to close on or about September 29, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
Concurrently, Banyan plans to issue up to 8,000,000 shares on a non-brokered basis at the same price, aiming to raise additional gross proceeds of up to $8,000,000. The net proceeds from these offerings will be directed towards advancing Banyan’s Yukon projects and general corporate and working capital purposes.
Banyan Gold Corp. is currently focused on several key projects, including the AurMac Project, located in the Traditional Territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun in Canada’s Yukon Territory. This project comprises two main deposits, the Airstrip and Powerline Deposits. Additionally, Banyan holds the Hyland Gold Project, situated 70 km northeast of Watson Lake, Yukon, along the southeast end of the Tintina Gold Belt. The Hyland Project is in the Traditional Territory of the Kaska Nations and is closest to the Liard First Nation and Daylu Dena Council.
The company also owns the Nitra Gold Project and Seattle-Goodman Creek Project, grassroots exploration properties located in the Mayo Mining district, adjacent to the AurMac Gold Project. These properties cover over 530 square kilometers and are accessible by road along the Silver Trail Highway, South McQuesten Road, and a network of other smaller roads.
Banyan Gold Corp. will be participating in several industry events, including the Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek from September 22-25, 2026, and a corporate presentation on September 23 at 1:30 PM MDT.
