Baha Mar Tennis Cup Returns with Celebrity Pro-Am and Exclusive Clinics

Baha Mar, the leading integrated resort destination in The Bahamas, is set to host the seventh annual Baha Mar Tennis Cup, a four-day fundraising event taking place from December 10 to 13, 2026. The event will be co-hosted by tennis legends John McEnroe and Mark Knowles, with the aim of supporting Bahamian youth through tennis.
This year’s event will feature a celebrity pro-am tournament, offering guests the opportunity to compete alongside eight professional tennis players. Past participants have included renowned players like Tommy Paul, Jessica Pegula, and Coco Gauff, alongside celebrities such as Jason Isaacs and Tommy Paul.
The Baha Mar Tennis Cup has grown significantly since its inception, evolving into a cornerstone event that blends exceptional competition with exclusive experiences and philanthropic impact. In 2025, the event raised over $300,000, supporting youth tennis programs and community initiatives across The Bahamas.
The event will kick off with three afternoon clinics on Thursday, December 10. These clinics will cater to players of different skill levels, including an open-level clinic for those rated 3.0 and above. The evening will feature a welcome reception at Rosewood Baha Mar, providing guests a chance to mingle with visiting professionals and fellow attendees, accompanied by live music from the Johnny Smyth Band.
On Friday, December 11, the Pro-Am participants will begin with a kickoff clinic before competing in the signature Pro-Am Tournament. This will be followed by Lunch on the Lawn, offering a relaxed setting for guests to enjoy the day. In the afternoon, a pro exhibition featuring singles and doubles matches will take place, providing spectators with a glimpse of top player performances. The evening will be marked by Taste of Baha Mar, a culinary celebration showcasing the resort’s acclaimed culinary talent.
Saturday, December 12, will see eight celebrities teaming up with eight tennis pros for the Celebrity Pro-Am. The day will also include morning Live Ball and VIP clinics, as well as a Celebrity Live Ball Clinic. The evening will feature a live performance by the Johnny Smyth Band at Jon Batiste’s Jazz Club, followed by the Baha Mar Foundation Dinner and an after-party mixer.
The weekend will come to a close on Sunday, December 13, with a Live Ball clinic for VIP spectator participants and the annual Kids Clinic, where local youth will have the opportunity to receive drills, guidance, and inspiration from visiting tennis professionals.
