Aya Gold & Silver Reports High-Grade Silver Exploration Results at Zgounder Mine

MONTREAL, Sept. 16, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Aya Gold & Silver Inc. has announced high-grade silver exploration results from its ongoing drilling program at the Zgounder Silver Mine in Morocco. The company reported significant silver mineralization both around the open pit and in the central area of the mine.
In the open-pit area, three notable drill holes intercepted high-grade silver. Hole ZG-RC-24-155 returned 783 grams per tonne (g/t) silver over 13.0 meters, while Hole ZG-RC-24-354 yielded 501 g/t silver over 11.0 meters, including 4,000 g/t over 1.0 meters. Hole ZG-SF-25-702 intercepted 1,553 g/t silver over 1.4 meters.
In the central area, the company reported even more impressive results. Hole DZG-SF-26-945 returned 3,501 g/t silver over 3.5 meters, including 7,717 g/t over 1.5 meters. Holes T28-26-1334 and T28-26-1333 also showed strong silver grades, with T28-26-1334 returning 4,770 g/t silver over 2.4 meters and T28-26-1333 intercepting 1,362 g/t silver over 8.4 meters, including 2,873 g/t over 3.6 meters. Hole T28-26-1404 yielded 762 g/t silver over 12.0 meters.
As of the end of the year, 16,217 meters or 54.1% of the 2026 exploration program had been drilled.
The exploration program is progressing well, with the development of the exploration drift at the 1,825-meter level advancing. This sets the stage for drilling west of the fault to begin in the fourth quarter, providing an important new opportunity to expand the mineralized footprint.
