VOORHEES TOWNSHIP, N.J., Oct. 7, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Axia Women's Health, a leading provider of women's healthcare services, has partnered with FamilyWell Health to expand access to specialized mental health care for women across various life stages. This collaboration aims to connect Axia patients with tailored mental health support through their existing OB/GYN relationship.

The partnership was announced by Kyle Snook, CEO of Axia Women's Health.

FamilyWell Health was founded by Dr. Jessica Gaulton, who has personal experience with postpartum depression. The company's focus has since expanded to address women's mental health across life stages, closely aligning with Axia's commitment to caring for women throughout their lives.

Through the partnership, an Axia clinician will be able to connect a patient with FamilyWell's virtual team of care coordinators, coaches, therapists, and psychiatric providers. The approach is designed to support a path into treatment and keep the patient's OB/GYN clinician connected to her care. FamilyWell's collaborative care model provides a framework for coordination and for adjusting support as a patient's needs change.

The partnership is expected to launch this fall across Axia's network in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Indiana, and Kentucky. By connecting virtual behavioral health services with its existing clinical teams, Axia aims to make mental and physical health care more connected for patients throughout their lives.

FamilyWell's approach is supported by peer-reviewed research published in the Maternal and Child Health Journal in April 2026. The study found that its integrated program was associated with improvements in depression and anxiety symptoms among pregnant and postpartum patients. This research underscores the effectiveness of integrating mental health care into the trusted healthcare relationships women already have.

Axia Women's Health, with its network of OB/GYN practices and specialty services, is committed to creating a more connected and personalized healthcare experience for women throughout every stage of life. In 2026, Axia Women's Health was named the top physician practice for women's health by Castle Connolly for the third consecutive year and certified as a Great Place to Work for the fifth consecutive year.
