Austin Peay State University Athletics Restructures with Taymar

Austin Peay State University Athletics has announced a restructuring aimed at enhancing corporate partnerships and revenue generation. The move brings in a new team led by Taymar, a national college sports marketing company, to drive the department's growth.
Madi Etherton, a 2025 Austin Peay graduate, has joined as the Director of Annual Giving and Donor Engagement. Her role will focus on creating impactful experiences for donors, strengthening relationships, and overseeing premier athletics events and donor relations at the university. Etherton’s background in fostering donor connections will be crucial in expanding the Austin Peay Athletics community.
Joe Hudak, an Account Executive for Sponsorships, will concentrate on driving new sponsorship sales and managing existing partnerships. Hudak, a Saint Bonaventure graduate, brings extensive experience in sports marketing and sponsorship strategy, which will help enhance revenue opportunities and foster long-term partnerships within the APSU community.
Nathan Combs, with a background in corporate partnership fulfillment and promotional events, has been appointed to the team. Combs, who graduated from Cincinnati with a degree in sport administration, will be key in executing partnership activations and ensuring the delivery of value to APSU's partners.
Parker Phillips, a 2019 Austin Peay graduate and a former baseball Hall of Famer, returns to APSU as the General Manager for Revenue Generation. Phillips previously managed sponsorship sales for Austin Peay and will now oversee Taymar’s team in Clarksville, providing strategic direction to expand the university's presence locally, regionally, and nationally.
Kelsey Miller, who previously served as Director of Annual Giving, now oversees all aspects driving Austin Peay’s ticketing revenue. Her new role involves greater responsibilities in managing and executing ticketing strategy, further aligning the department’s efforts with Taymar’s mission to drive new revenue growth.
This restructure is part of Austin Peay State University Athletics’ ongoing efforts to strengthen its corporate partnerships and revenue generation strategies. Taymar’s team will focus on key areas such as annual giving, donor engagement, ticket and sponsorship sales, management and execution, and fostering community partnerships.
