Calgary, Alberta (September 3, 2026), Aurwest Resources Corporation, a Canadian-based junior resource company, has announced a share consolidation plan to streamline its capital structure and better position itself for future exploration programs. The consolidation, approved by the company’s Board of Directors, will see every ten pre-consolidation common shares exchanged for one post-consolidation common share.
According to Cameron MacDonald, Interim President and CEO of Aurwest Resources, the consolidation is aimed at creating a more attractive share structure, which is expected to broaden investor appeal. "We believe this move will strategically enhance our market position, particularly as we prepare for our upcoming exploration programs at the Weaver Lake gold project and the Porter Lake uranium project," MacDonald said.
The consolidation, which has received approval from the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), is expected to take effect on or about September 9, 2026. The company currently has 125,120,604 common shares outstanding. Following the consolidation, the number of shares is expected to be approximately 12,512,060, subject to rounding. No fractional shares will be issued.
MacDonald further explained that the exercise or conversion price of all outstanding securities convertible into common shares will be adjusted proportionately to reflect the consolidation. "Registered shareholders will receive a letter of transmittal from our transfer agent, Olympia Trust Company, with instructions on how to exchange their pre-consolidation common shares for post-consolidation shares," he added.
Shareholders holding their common shares through intermediaries do not need to take any action to effect the consolidation. The new CUSIP number for the post-consolidation common shares will be 05208Y203, and the new ISIN will be CA05208Y2033.
Aurwest Resources Corporation is focused on the acquisition, exploration, and development of uranium and gold properties in Canada. The company’s next steps will be to proceed with its exploration programs, leveraging the improved share structure to attract additional investment.
