Auriginal Mining Corp. has announced the results of four additional drill holes at its 100%-owned Roger Project in the Chibougamau district of Quebec, confirming the continuation of gold-copper mineralization well below the historical resource and along strike from it. The company has now reported the final three holes of the Phase 1 program (AUR-26-08 to AUR-26-10) and the first hole of the Phase 2 definition program (AUR-26-12).

AUR-26-12, the strongest result reported to date, intersected 45.5 meters grading 1.05 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 397.0 meters, including 8.0 meters grading 4.37 g/t gold and 2.2 meters grading 12.2 g/t gold, 31.9 g/t silver, 0.35% copper, and 0.21% zinc. Additionally, the hole returned 23.2 meters grading 1.35 g/t gold from 111.0 meters (including 1.5 meters at 16.3 g/t gold) and 19.5 meters grading 1.51 g/t gold from 207.0 meters (including 2.9 meters at 7.01 g/t gold).

AUR-26-10 intersected mineralization from 167 meters to 663 meters down-hole. The interval of 29.4 meters grading 1.32 g/t gold from 402.0 meters includes 1.3 meters of banded massive sulphides grading 14.0 g/t gold, 44.9 g/t silver, and 1.47% copper, and a further 1.4 meters at 12.3 g/t gold. A second broad interval of 24.3 meters grading 1.04 g/t gold from 603.7 meters, including 4.0 meters at 3.82 g/t gold, demonstrates that gold grades are sustained at the deepest levels tested in this hole.

AUR-26-09 intersected narrower intervals, the most significant being 4.1 meters grading 1.22 g/t gold from 658.9 meters, including 0.5 meters grading 8.41 g/t gold, 106.0 g/t silver, and 0.84% copper, the deepest mineralized intercept reported at Roger. AUR-26-08 returned eleven mineralized intervals between 127 meters and 534 meters, including 33.3 meters grading 0.43 g/t gold from 397.5 meters (with 2.5 meters at 2.47 g/t gold) and 7.5 meters grading 0.99 g/t gold from 235.5 meters (with 1.5 meters at 4.22 g/t gold).

Taken together with the Phase 1 holes reported previously, the program has extended the known mineralized system over at least 1.4 kilometers of strike and at least 150 meters below the limits of historical drilling. Mineralization remains open along strike and at depth.

The company's reinterpretation of the Roger deposit suggests that the porphyry-style gold-copper system persists below and beyond the historical Roger Zone, with grade maintained to approximately 660 meters down-hole. The banded massive sulphides intersected in AUR-26-10 and the gold-silver-copper-zinc sub-intervals in AUR-26-09 and AUR-26-12 are consistent with a volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) component within the system. The company expects to publish an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Roger Zone before year-end 2026, based on a revised geological interpretation of the previously reported historical resource, supported by the historical drilling and a modern, validated drill database compiled by the company.

The 2026 MRE will not include any results from the Phase 1 or Phase 2 drill programs, including the holes reported in this release. Its purpose is to re-establish the Roger resource on a current footing, with a consistent geological model, a verified database, and modern estimation methods, before new drilling is added. The company intends to incorporate the Phase 1 and Phase 2 drilling, together with any additional drilling completed under a potential Phase 3 program, into a further MRE update targeted for the first half of 2027. This update is intended to capture the extensions to the Roger system outlined by the 2026 drilling and represents the next stage of resource development at the project.
