Augmentt Expands Secure Autopilot with New Microsoft 365 Capabilities

News provided byAugmentt · 2 min read

Augmentt, a leading multi-tenant Microsoft 365 security and compliance management platform for managed service providers (MSPs), has expanded its Secure Autopilot module to include new capabilities for SharePoint, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Teams. This update enables MSPs to verify and enforce Microsoft 365 data protection and collaboration policies from a single console, addressing a key challenge for clients as they adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Traditionally, MSPs have had to navigate multiple administrative portals to ensure data protection and collaboration security across their client tenants. With the release of these new features, MSPs can now manage and prove compliance with Microsoft 365 data protection and collaboration security policies across every client tenant from a unified interface.

"This release addresses a critical gap in the market," said Derik Belair, CEO and Co-Founder of Augmentt. "Our MSPs have been telling us that they need a consistent way to manage and prove compliance across all their client tenants, especially as they enable Copilot and other Microsoft 365 features."

The new capabilities allow MSPs to perform several key tasks: - Verify that Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies are enabled across every tenant, including DLP for Microsoft 365 Copilot. - Identify and deploy baseline configurations for sensitivity label policies where none exist. - Audit SharePoint and OneDrive sharing settings against a preferred benchmark and remediate loose settings with a single click. - Set Teams meeting, messaging, app permission, and external access policies across every tenant from a single screen.

Every check performed through Secure Autopilot maps back to recognized standards, ensuring that what an MSP's team manages and reports to clients or auditors is consistent and accurate.

Augmentt's Secure Autopilot already includes multi-tenant architectures for Conditional Access policy management, Intune Autopilot, Defender policy management, and compliance auditing mapped to benchmarks such as HIPAA, CMMC, NIST CSF, and Essential Eight. The new SharePoint, Purview, and Teams coverage extends this existing framework, providing a comprehensive solution for MSPs.

"Clients are now turning on Copilot and asking whether their data is protected," Belair continued. "With this release, our MSPs can provide a straight answer across all their tenants, not just the ones they had time to check."

The new capabilities are now generally available for existing Augmentt customers and new MSP partners. A baseline data-protection configuration can be deployed directly from Augmentt as a starting point. Augmentt recommends that MSPs tune DLP and sensitivity-label policies to each client's specific data needs.
