Atos Secures £350 Million Contract with Metropolitan Police Service

Atos, a global leader in AI-powered digital transformation, has secured a significant contract worth up to £350 million with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) in the United Kingdom. The six-year agreement, which includes the option to extend for an additional two years, will see Atos deliver core services including application management, service management, and application security. The contract also opens the door for the addition of managed cloud and digital workplace services at the discretion of the MPS.

The collaboration is part of Atos' long-standing relationship with the Metropolitan Police Service, which has relied on the company for critical digital infrastructure.

Under the terms of the agreement, Atos will provide end-to-end service management and maintain key business applications across the MPS technology estate. The services will be delivered in line with ITIL best practices, ensuring high levels of availability, resilience, and performance. IT Service Continuity Management will be central to the delivery model, helping to safeguard essential policing services. Additionally, robust security measures will protect data, systems, and users across the estate.
