Atos Opens AI-Driven SOC in UAE with GCH

Atos, a global leader in AI-powered digital transformation, has partnered with Gulf Cyberfender Hub (GCH) to open a new AI-driven Security Operations Center (SOC) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The new facility, which is set to operate under the Atos brand, will provide local data residency, support national cyber resilience priorities, and enhance the UAE's ability to respond to regional and AI-driven threats.

The SOC, located in Dubai, is designed to offer sovereign security operations, ensuring that organizations can retain greater control over their security data and operations within the UAE. This local operating model is crucial for meeting the regulatory requirements set by the UAE Information Assurance Standards and the National Electronic Security Authority.

According to Atos, the new SOC will leverage advanced analytics, automation, and AI-driven operations to accelerate threat detection, investigation, and response. By using Agentic AI, Atos aims to significantly reduce Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR), thereby helping customers reduce cyber risk and strengthen overall business resilience. Threat actors are increasingly using AI to automate and scale their attacks, making such measures critical for modern security operations.

The UAE SOC will collaborate with Atos' Global Threat Research Center to provide curated threat intelligence. This intelligence is informed by global visibility and tailored to the local and regional threat landscape, combining Atos' international cyber expertise with locally relevant intelligence. This approach is expected to support faster and more informed security decisions.
