ATHA Energy Expands Uranium Mineralization at Rib North Discovery

ATHA Energy, a Canadian exploration company, has announced significant progress at its Rib North discovery site in Nunavut, Canada. The company’s ongoing 2026 Angilak Exploration Program has expanded the continuity of uranium mineralization over a strike length of 1.45 kilometers, marking a substantial advance in the exploration of the RIB North Discovery.
The latest results from seven additional diamond drillholes (RIBN-DD-010 to RIBN-DD-016A) reveal the presence of uranium mineralization across a wide area. Notably, drillhole RIBN-DD-011 intersected 20 meters of composite uranium mineralization over 15 zones, including 1.3 meters of high-grade mineralization. This high-grade interval, spanning from 661.5 meters to 663.0 meters, yielded an average radioactivity reading of 8,453 counts per second (CPS) and a maximum reading of 26,680 CPS. The highest-grade interval within this zone was 1.5 meters of composite mineralization with an average reading of 8,453 CPS and a maximum of 26,680 CPS, including over 0.6 meters of high-grade mineralization.
Drilling at the RIB North Discovery is focused on step-out targets to outline the continuity of uranium mineralization. These efforts have successfully extended the known mineralization, demonstrating the accuracy of the company’s geological model. The primary horizon of mineralization, discovered in 2025, has been traced over a strike length of 1.45 kilometers, with the system remaining open in all directions.
In addition to the primary horizon, a secondary mineralized horizon was also followed up, resulting in the tracing of mineralization over approximately 220 meters of strike length. This secondary horizon, first discovered by RIBN-DD-008, was confirmed by drillhole RIBN-DD-010, further underlining the systematic approach of the exploration program.
ATHA Energy's progress at the RIB North Discovery reflects the company's commitment to systematically expanding the mineralized footprint. The ongoing 2026 Angilak Exploration Program is the largest to date on the project, comprising two components: diamond drilling with three drills and an aerial geophysics survey. The Company is testing target areas such as the Mineralized RIB Corridor for additional discovery potential and expansion, as well as the Lac 50 Deposit Corridor for testing recently identified, highly prospective targets and expanding the Lac 50 Deposit mineralization footprint.
ATHA Energy’s systematic exploration strategy is designed to further characterize the geological architecture and broader uranium potential of the Angikuni Basin, while strengthening its expanding project portfolio.
