ATEX Resources Inc. has announced significant advancements at its Valeriano Copper-Gold Project in the Atacama Region, Chile. The company completed its Phase VI drill program, which was the largest to date, totaling approximately 28,400 meters of drilling. This surpassed the initial target of 25,000 meters and represented a 70% increase over the previous Phase V.

The Phase VI program focused on expanding the high-grade B2B breccia zone and discovering new mineralization beyond the known B2B system. Key findings include the extension of the B2B breccia by 200 meters to the south, increasing the interpreted strike length by 50% to approximately 600 meters. Additionally, the broader mineralized corridor has expanded by 200 meters to the east at the higher B2B elevation, and an approximate 150-meter true-width zone of mineralized host rock has been identified north of B2B.

Chris Beer, the Interim President and CEO of ATEX Resources Inc., commented, "The results from Phase VI have significantly advanced our understanding of the high-grade B2B zone and the surrounding system. We are now recognizing a broader, high-grade mineralized footprint that incorporates multiple breccia and porphyry phases, mineralized host rocks, and high-grade zones."

The program also demonstrated the potential for a much larger mineralized system surrounding the B2B zone. Step-out drilling intersected porphyry-related mineralization across an approximately 1.8-kilometer north-south corridor, establishing the potential for a larger mineralized system. Recent drilling has also identified mineralization and porphyry-style geological indicators more than 400 meters north of B2B and additional mineralization south of Valeriano, providing new vectors for follow-up exploration.

Drilling highlights from Phase VI include: - ATXD25C: 40 meters of 4.83% copper equivalent (CuEq) within 86 meters of 3.84% CuEq. - ATXD26B: 186 meters of 2.15% CuEq within a broader interval of 887 meters of 1.06% CuEq. - ATXD32: 56 meters of 2.36% CuEq within a broader interval of 592 meters of 1.04% CuEq. - ATXD34: 172 meters of 0.80% CuEq within a broader interval of 834 meters of 0.66% CuEq. - ATXD23C: 20 meters of 4.10% CuEq within 78 meters of 3.03% CuEq. - ATXD19B: 37 meters of 1.72% CuEq within a broader interval of 446 meters of 0.74% CuEq. - ATXD25E: 20 meters of 1.70% CuEq within 66 meters of 1.30% CuEq. - ATXD31B: 10 meters of 2.22% CuEq within 22 meters of 1.74% CuEq.

The Phase VII drill program is expected to commence in early October, targeting the growing pipeline of B2B and high-grade porphyry targets, as well as broader system opportunities. This is ahead of an updated Mineral Resource Estimate in the second half of 2027.

ATEX Resources Inc. is advancing its exploration efforts to demonstrate the district-scale potential of the Valeriano project. The company's next phase of exploration will focus on expanding the high-grade B2B zone and discovering new mineralization beyond the known system. The results from Phase VI have significantly enhanced ATEX's understanding of the scale, geometry, and controls on high-grade mineralization at Valeriano, providing a strong pipeline of targets for follow-up drilling.
