Advanced Test Equipment Corporation (ATEC) has expanded its ISO 17025-accredited calibration capabilities to include RF power sensor calibration factors, enhancing its ability to support complex testing requirements in the aerospace, defense, and advanced communications sectors.
The move allows ATEC to now offer ISO/IEC 17025 accredited RF power sensor calibration factor measurements across a wider frequency range, from 9 kHz to 50 GHz, with improved traceability and measurement confidence. This expansion is particularly significant as it enables ATEC to provide more precise and reliable calibrations for RF power sensors used in various applications, including aerospace, defense, communications, EMC, and wireless testing.
"We are pleased to have expanded our accredited RF calibration scope to include power sensor calibration factors," said Jamison Berg, CEO of ATEC. "This enhancement reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers, who rely on precise, accredited measurements to validate performance and ensure compliance."
The enhanced capabilities will support a broader range of RF calibration services, including the verification of isotropicity, E-field linearity, and frequency response for RF and E-field probes. ATEC has also expanded its services to include RF isotropic H-field probe calibration, further bolstering its position in the industry.
"This expanded scope enables us to update internal calibration factors for power sensors from manufacturers such as Keysight, PMM, and Rohde & Schwarz," Berg added. "With this capability, we can provide greater confidence in measurement accuracy and improve the efficiency and reliability of RF testing."
The expanded accreditation also allows ATEC to support a wider array of RF power sensors, ensuring that customers can trust the accuracy of their testing results. This is crucial in industries where precision and reliability are paramount, such as aerospace and defense.
"We ensure equipment accuracy by requesting ATEC calibration services or exploring their full capabilities," said Berg. "Our ISO 17025-accredited lab supports a wide range of RF calibration services, making us a trusted partner for organizations in the aerospace, defense, and communications sectors."
By expanding its accreditation to include RF power sensor calibration factors, ATEC is better positioned to meet the increasing demands of advanced testing in the aerospace, defense, and communications industries. This move underscores the company's commitment to providing high-precision, accredited measurements to support the evolving needs of its customers.
