ASUS unveils AI POD for fully operational factories

SEOUL, South Korea, ASUS has unveiled a comprehensive AI infrastructure platform designed to transform standalone AI systems into fully operational factories. This new platform integrates accelerated computing, networking, storage, deployment software, and AI governance into a seamless, continuous platform, marking a significant advancement in the industry.

At the core of ASUS's new initiative is the ASUS AI POD, a rack-scale platform built on NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72, which delivers 10 times the performance per watt compared to its predecessor. This high-performance system, along with the enterprise-ready XA NR1I-E12LR and XA NR1I-E12L, based on NVIDIA HGX Rubin NVL8, accelerates AI infrastructure for demanding enterprise training and inference tasks.

Paul Ju, Senior Vice President of ASUS's Infrastructure Solution Business Group, highlighted the company's commitment to embedding AI across all facets of its business. "ASUS is now fully aligned with its 'All in on AI' strategy, focusing on infrastructure, commercial solutions, and innovative physical devices," said Ju. "As AI factories become integral to business operations, infrastructure performance and AI governance must be addressed holistically."

The new platform also emphasizes the importance of AI governance from the outset. ASUS uses advanced system engineering and NVIDIA's DSX Sim Blueprint to simulate and validate AI factories before physical deployment. Working with partners like Schneider Electric, AVEVA, and IBM, ASUS creates a unified digital twin environment that allows organizations to optimize configurations and reduce deployment risks.

Once deployed, the platform supports continuous operational control through the ASUS Control Center (ACC) and Infrastructure Deployment Center (AIDC), complemented by the comprehensive AI Software Stack. This stack includes tools for quota and billing management, as well as an MLOps Portal, which facilitate efficient resource management and accelerate overall operational speed.

For agentic AI, the ASUS XA P2N-E2, a 2U NVIDIA MGX platform, is designed for scalable, energy-efficient operations. This platform is particularly suited for large-scale enterprises looking to process and manage agentic AI and physical AI autonomously.

The ASUS ESC8000-E12P, featuring NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 and RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, extends AI acceleration to the edge, enabling real-time inference and vision AI applications. Additionally, the compact PE3000N edge-AI platform, powered by NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000, provides real-time inference and sensor fusion for robotics and industrial automation.

To support robust data infrastructure, ASUS offers the UF920-E3-RS24 server, based on the NVIDIA STX modular foundation, alongside the OJ340A-RS60 object storage solution and VS320D-RS26N storage system. These products are designed to meet the high-capacity, availability, and data management demands of modern AI pipelines, from design validation to production-scale deployment.

Foxlink and Aleria demonstrated the practical applications of these technologies at ASUS AI Tech 2026. Foxlink showcased next-level industrial automation with autonomous robotics, while Aleria highlighted the importance of sovereign AI deployments for secure operations. These demonstrations underscore the value of ASUS's integrated approach, which significantly reduces time to revenue and optimizes resource efficiency.
