ASUS Launches EmpowerED Hardware Grant Program

Fremont, CA, Sept. 08, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- ASUS, a leading technology company, has launched a new initiative aimed at empowering K-12 schools across the United States. The EmpowerED Hardware Grant Program will provide up to four U.S. schools with complete, high-performance technology labs, designed to enhance hands-on learning and innovative projects.

The program, which is now accepting applications, will outfit each selected school with professional-grade ASUS desktops or laptops and dedicated peripherals, tailored to one of four focus areas: AI/STEM, Gaming/Esports, Media & Digital Creativity, or Robotics. The goal is to remove technology barriers that often hinder educators from implementing ambitious and hands-on learning concepts.

Each winning school will benefit from high-performance notebook or desktop configurations, along with a full suite of ASUS peripherals, designed to outfit up to 12 student stations. The program focuses on four high-impact disciplines:

- AI/STEM Labs: Equipping schools with the computing power needed to explore artificial intelligence, data science, and emerging technologies. - Gaming/Esports Labs: Supporting competitive and industry-standard programs that build teamwork, strategy, and technical skills. - Media & Digital Creativity Labs: Providing professional-grade tools for digital storytelling, graphic design, and content creation. - Robotics Labs: Supplying the reliable hardware required to design, build, and program complex engineering projects.

The EmpowerED Hardware Grant Program is open to all U.S. K-12 schools and districts, including specialized K-12 labs. Applicants are encouraged to share their vision for how they would use the equipment to power their program. The selection process will identify four partner schools, with project kickoffs scheduled for November and December.
