Astra Exploration Inc., a Vancouver-based precious metals exploration company, will participate in the inaugural Gentile Mining Investor Forum and the Michael Gentile Mining & Metals European Roadshow. The events, scheduled from October 19 to 23, are part of a week-long program aimed at providing serious investors direct, in-person access to select mining companies.
The investor forum, taking place on Monday, October 19, at 116 Pall Mall in Mayfair, London, will bring together up to 150 investors, family offices, wealth managers, and high-net-worth individuals. The program will feature a keynote breakfast, issuer showcases, an executive lunch and speaker panel, and an all-day investor lounge and networking reception. Astra Exploration is one of six companies from Gentile's portfolio participating in the full five-city program.
The roadshow will continue to Paris (October 20), Frankfurt (October 21), Zurich (October 22), and Munich (October 23). At each city, Astra will take part in structured one-on-one investor meetings and a hosted lunch presentation, including a keynote by Gentile.
Michael Gentile, a leading strategic investor in the junior mining sector, has been organizing such events since 2018. Gentile began his investing career in 2002 at Formula Growth Limited, where he spent 17 years. From 2012 to 2018, he co-managed one of Canada's largest market-neutral hedge funds alongside his partner, Charles Haggar. In 2022, Gentile co-founded Bastion Asset Management, a Montreal-based investment firm that manages more than CAD $900 million in small and mid-cap equities across the United States and Canada.
Astra Exploration Inc. is actively building a portfolio of high-quality projects in Latin America. The company owns the 80% option to acquire 90% interest in the La Manchuria gold-silver project in Santa Cruz, Argentina, from Patagonia Gold Corp. The 100% owned Pampa Paciencia gold and silver project in northern Chile is located in the Paleocene mineral province, close to major operating mines such as Spence and Sierra Gorda. Additionally, the company holds the 100% owned Don Mario project in northern Chile, which is located in the Maricunga belt and shares geological similarities with other high-end precious metals deposits.
Brian Miller, the CEO of Astra Exploration Inc., expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming events. "Michael Gentile and Amvest Capital have organized a concentrated series of events focused on quality and efficient use of resources for issuers and investors alike. We are very pleased to be selected for such a high-profile event with some of the best names in the industry, particularly as Astra commences its biggest drilling season ever," Miller said.
The events are part of a broader strategy to enhance investor engagement and showcase the potential of Astra Exploration's projects. The company's participation in the Gentile Mining Investor Forum and the Michael Gentile Mining & Metals European Roadshow underscores its commitment to transparency and direct communication with stakeholders.
