AssessrLog, the CMMC Level 1 self-assessment software from ProfytAI, has launched a suite of free resources to support small U.S. defense suppliers in maintaining compliance during the Phase II suspension. The Department of Defense (DoD) has estimated that about 209,540 entities, with 142,487 being small, will need to conduct CMMC Level 1 self-assessments once the program is fully phased in.
AssessrLog, which publicly launched in September 2026, provides a comprehensive system for small U.S. defense suppliers that handle Federal Contract Information (FCI). The software allows suppliers to scope their FCI, work through all 59 assessment objectives across the 15 requirements of FAR 52.204-21, and maintain evidence behind each MET, NOT MET, or N/A determination. This ensures that affirming officials can provide a complete record to affirm in SPRS, the Supplier Performance Risk System.
Jeff Kangar, Co-founder & CEO of AssessrLog, emphasized that the Phase II pause did not eliminate the need for CMMC Level 1 self-assessments.
The free Readiness Check, available at assessrlog.com/readiness-check, asks 24 plain-English questions and takes about 10 minutes to complete. The results reflect the supplier's own answers and are not a formal determination. The CMMC Level 1 Reference Center, accessible at assessrlog.com/cmmc, offers a detailed guide to all 15 requirements and 59 assessment objectives, with official text reproduced exactly as printed, plus plain-English guides and a printable checklist.
AssessrLog keeps the scope, evidence, and every determination in a single record for the affirming official.
Burkhardt, with more than 20 years of product and engineering experience, noted that AssessrLog never makes a determination. Every scope decision and every MET, NOT MET, or N/A determination is made and recorded by a person at the supplier. Early access pricing for the Practitioner plan is $99 a month billed annually ($1,188 a year) or $149 a month to month, with one active assessment included. Each additional active assessment is $49 a month.
