STOCKHOLM, Sept. 16, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in access solutions, has expanded its portfolio by acquiring PACLOCK, a US-based padlock and security hardware manufacturer. The acquisition, which bolsters ASSA ABLOY’s position in mature markets, adds a new layer of security products and solutions to its core business.

Founded in 1998, PACLOCK is known for its high-quality security products that combine reliability, durability, and innovation. The company's main office and factory are located in Valencia, California, and it employs approximately 40 individuals. In 2025, PACLOCK reported sales of approximately $17 million (SEK 155 million) with a strong earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) margin.

According to Nico Delvaux, President and CEO of ASSA ABLOY, the acquisition of PACLOCK aligns with the company’s strategic vision.

Lucas Boselli, Executive Vice President and Head of the Americas Division, highlighted PACLOCK's expertise in delivering customized security solutions.

PACLOCK will be integrated into the Residential Business Segment within the Americas Division. The acquisition is expected to be accretive to earnings per share (EPS) from the outset, contributing positively to ASSA ABLOY’s financial performance.

With this acquisition, ASSA ABLOY continues to expand its portfolio of security solutions, ensuring that it can meet the evolving needs of its customers.
