Asia Broadband Completes $5.5 Million Acquisition of High-Grade La Vencedora Mine

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 16, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Asia Broadband Inc. has completed the acquisition of the La Vencedora mining concession, a high-grade underground gold and silver property located in the Etzatlán region of Jalisco, Mexico. The $5.5 million deal gives the company 100% ownership of the mining concession, covering approximately 1,200 hectares.

The acquisition is part of the company’s strategy to expand its precious metals production and properties portfolio in Mexico. Chris Torres, the President and CEO of Asia Broadband Inc., expressed satisfaction with the deal, stating, "The completion of the La Vencedora acquisition significantly improves our Etzatlán mining district. We now own 1,200 hectares containing 1.3 kilometers of underground development, which is only 18 kilometers from our processing facility."

According to the press release, the La Vencedora concession includes approximately 1.3 kilometers of underground development on multiple levels and access points. This existing infrastructure will help reduce initial development costs and enable the company to focus on mine rehabilitation and production. The mine has historically reported gold grades ranging from 9 grams per ton (g/t) to 12 g/t and silver grades from 350 g/t to 400 g/t, which have been incorporated into the current mine plan and technical evaluations.

Torres added, "The structure of the deal is beneficial for our shareholders, as 50% of the purchase price will be paid in cash immediately, with the remainder payable in installments. No common shares will be issued as part of the acquisition."

The company plans to start mine preparation and extraction activities in the fourth quarter of 2026. Initial mineralized material from the La Vencedora mine is targeted for processing at the company's existing Etzatlán gold and silver processing facility. The facility utilizes an extensive flotation system, and the characteristics of the underground material from La Vencedora are well-matched with the processing capabilities.

Torres further stated, "The La Vencedora material will help us increase the Etzatlán production feed with another source of higher-grade material. This should improve the flexibility of the Etzatlán facility in blending the feed material and decrease certain difficulties in processing it."

The company expects to produce approximately 150 to 200 tons per day of mineralized underground material from the La Vencedora mine into the Etzatlán processing facility. This estimate is subject to mine development, grade continuity, equipment availability, extraction and processing performance.

With the acquisition completed, the company's mining and technical teams will be working on mine preparation, rehabilitation, sequencing of initial extraction zones, equipment and personnel deployment, logistics, and transportation planning. The goal is to deliver and process the initial La Vencedora material at the Etzatlán processing facility during the fourth quarter of 2026.
