Ashley Gold Corp., a Canadian mineral exploration company, has resumed drilling operations on its Tak Patents project in Ontario, Canada. The company is also partnering with Pioneer Exploration Consultants Ltd. to conduct a LiDAR survey across the Tak and Alto-Gardnar projects.

According to Ashley Gold Corp., the company's crews are back on the ground and working on multiple phases of drilling. Seven Phase III holes remain pending, and seven more Phase IV holes are planned. The first hole in Phase IV, TAK-26-17, has already commenced. The company's President, Noah Komavli, stated, "Our mission is to unify the 67Z and D99Z zones. Since acquiring the Tak Patents in early 2026, we have consistently applied effort, with each subsequent program being more impactful than the last. Phase IV drilling should be no exception, as we aim to test high priority IP features east of the 67Z."

The LiDAR survey, which will be conducted in collaboration with Cascade Copper Corp., is designed to produce a digital terrain model that will upgrade the company's plotting and planning of drilling. The survey will also map linear depressions, subtle scarps, and changes in topographic fabric to help ground-truth mineralizing fluids. The program will use a helicopter-mounted Riegl VUX-240 scanner and a PhaseOne iXM 100MP camera to acquire high-density canopy-penetrating LiDAR and 10 cm imagery. Data collection is scheduled to begin in mid-to-late September 2026, with LiDAR products targeted for delivery approximately six weeks after survey completion.

The Tak Patents project, situated abutting the northeast of the Goliath Gold Complex, has a rich history of intermittent exploration efforts dating back to the 1900s. The project has been the subject of exploration by legendary companies such as Lac Minerals (Barrick) and Cominco (Teck). After 24 years of inactivity, Ashley Gold Corp. acquired the project in January 2026. In 2026, the company commissioned the first modern IP survey, which highlighted a 1 km resistive body with two main chargeable units flanking the resistive body to the north.

The company has identified three high-priority exploration zones: D99Z, 67Z, and NTZ. The D99Z zone, validated and expanded in early 2026, has a surface mineralization width estimated at over 80 meters. The 67Z zone, named after the historic intercepts of 3.08 g/t Au over 7.57 meters and 3.18 g/t Au over 8.7 meters, is the subject of ongoing Phase 2 drilling. The NTZ zone, comprising five trenches, has shown evidence of a high-grade gold zone through prospecting, with surface samples assaying up to 398 g/t Au.

Ashley Gold Corp. has a strong presence in the Dryden Area in Ontario, with a 100% ownership in the Santa-Maria, Burnthut, Howie, and Alto-Gardnar claims. The company's focus on acquiring and developing highly prospective gold and polymetallic deposits in Canada's top mining regions positions it for continued exploration and potential discovery.
