Ashley Gold Corp., a Canadian mining company, has announced the results of a recent drilling operation that has yielded promising results in the Tak Project area. The company has reported a 0.460 grams per tonne (g/t) gold mineralization over 25.50 meters from 6.50 meters downhole, with a significant highlight of 9.560 g/t gold over 0.50 meters from 30.75 meters downhole.

The drilling, designated as Phase II TAK-26-06, was carried out between the 67Z and D99Z zones. The company's President, Noah Komavli, expressed satisfaction with the results, stating, "Our 100% hit rate of gold values above standard industry cut-offs continues. This exploratory hole was drilled to target the depth extensions of two historically worked trenches, and ultimately, the hole was a success, highlighting a level of continuity from the 67Z."

The drilling results confirm the presence of gold mineralization between the known occurrences of the 67Z and D99Z zones. Ashley Gold Corp. has indicated that this hole is the first between these two zones, and it is part of the ongoing exploration efforts to understand the continuity and extent of the mineralized zones.

The company's CEO, Darcy Christian, further elaborated on the significance of the findings: "This hole confirms gold mineralization between the known occurrences. After the spring thaw, we have located additional veins and trenches suggesting additional alteration and mineralization not reflected in this hole. Future collar locations and orientation will be optimized to accurately test the entirety of the zone."

Ashley Gold Corp. is currently working on extending the mineralized horizon from the 67Z zone easterly as part of its Phase IV step-out program. The company is also modifying the orientation of drilling in the TAK-26-06 pad area to better encapsulate recently identified trends noted on the surface.

The Tak Project is situated abutting the northeast of the Goliath Gold Complex and has been the subject of intermittent exploration efforts since the 1900s. The project has a rich history, with notable exploration by companies like Long Lac Minerals, Cominco, and Triex Resources. After acquiring the project in January 2026, Ashley Gold Corp. initiated a modern exploration program, including an IP survey and diamond drilling, which has led to the recent discoveries.

The company's exploration strategy is focused on expanding the known mineralized zones and understanding the geological structure of the area. The results from the Phase II TAK-26-06 drilling are expected to provide valuable data for the ongoing exploration efforts, particularly in targeting the depth extensions of the 67Z and D99Z zones.

With the successful completion of this drilling, Ashley Gold Corp. is optimistic about the potential for further discoveries in the Tak Project area. The company remains committed to advancing its exploration program and unlocking the full potential of the area.
