IMSS and OpenTurf Technologies have merged to launch Ariviti, a new AI-first software engineering company, bringing together more than 25 years of enterprise engineering expertise from IMSS and the AI-native software engineering capabilities of OpenTurf Technologies. The combined company, headquartered in Bengaluru, serves clients in India and international markets.

Ariviti combines these complementary strengths across enterprise modernization, cloud-native engineering, artificial intelligence and automation, quality engineering, and managed operations for production platforms. The new company is led by Arun Tanksali, who has over 35 years of industry expertise and was previously the Chief Executive Officer of OpenTurf Technologies. Prior to founding OpenTurf Technologies, Arun was the Chief Executive Officer of Integra Micro Software Services, a company founded in 2000.

Together, IMSS and OpenTurf Technologies aim to address the intersection of enterprise modernization and AI-native software engineering. IMSS has established a reputation for helping enterprises run, modernize, and transform their most critical technology systems over the past 25 years. OpenTurf Technologies, on the other hand, brings a different but highly complementary strength, the mindset and methods of AI-native software engineering. By combining these strengths, Ariviti seeks to provide enterprises with a comprehensive solution that leverages established enterprise engineering practices with AI-native approaches to software development.

The new company, Ariviti, is positioned to help enterprises adopt AI at unprecedented speed while ensuring reliability, security, quality, and compliance. The company's philosophy is to bring architecture, product engineering, and technology leadership closer together, enabling enterprises to address complex technology challenges more effectively.

Arun Tanksali, the new CEO of Ariviti, emphasized the importance of balancing enterprise engineering depth with AI-native approaches.

The merger of IMSS and OpenTurf Technologies represents a significant step forward for Ariviti, combining the strengths of both companies into a single entity. The new company will continue to operate under the Ariviti brand, bringing together service lines, product solutions, and client-facing operations. Ariviti's broader engineering capabilities include enterprise modernization, cloud-native engineering, AI and automation, quality and assurance engineering, and managed operations for production platforms.

The company's enterprise and AI-native expertise will be combined to address the challenges of modernizing enterprise technology. Ariviti will continue to serve existing clients and maintain existing service commitments, ensuring continuity for its clients. The company's headquarters will remain in Bengaluru, India, and it will serve clients in India and internationally.

The merger remains subject to customary closing activities, and the terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ariviti's new leadership team will work to integrate the two companies and bring their strengths together to serve the needs of its clients.
