Argyle Resources Corp. has completed its 2026 exploration program on the McKay Hill Silver Gold property, located approximately 50 kilometers north of Keno City, Yukon Territory. The company’s efforts, guided by the Qualified Person George Yordanov, P.Geo., have yielded significant data that will inform future drilling targets.
The 2026 field program involved a comprehensive approach, combining prospecting, detailed mapping, and the collection of 678 soil samples. These samples were gathered on a grid oriented on northing and easting to expand the known areas of mineralization. Additionally, a VLF electromagnetic magnetometer was used to delineate and extend known veins, providing valuable insights into the geological structure of the property.
Rock samples, totaling 45 in number, were also taken. These included samples from previously known zones as well as newly discovered areas. Soil geochemistry played a crucial role in tracing potential extensions to all identified zones, including those that were newly discovered during the 2026 work program.
Argyle Resources plans to conduct a LiDAR survey over the entire property early in 2027. This survey aims to identify structural features through orthophoto interpretation, which will guide targeted prospecting activities for the upcoming exploration season. The company is optimistic that these efforts will lead to the identification and prioritization of drill targets and potential mineralized zones.
As the compilation of 2026 field season data continues, Argyle Resources will release new information as it becomes available from the geologists. The company’s exploration activities are part of its ongoing efforts to expand its mineral resources and advance its projects in North America.
The completion of the 2026 exploration program marks a significant step in Argyle Resources’ strategy to enhance its understanding of the McKay Hill Silver Gold property. The data collected will be instrumental in guiding the company’s future exploration and drilling plans, aiming to uncover new mineral deposits and further delineate existing ones.
