Denver, Colorado, Oct. 07, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Apryse, the leading provider of document processing technology, has announced its Fall 2026 product release, expanding capabilities across its Web, Server, and Scanbot SDKs to help developers build sophisticated document workflows with fewer tools, workarounds, and custom development.
The new release aims to streamline the development process by integrating more advanced functionalities directly into the SDKs. This move is designed to reduce the need for custom code, conversion steps, and fallback processes, making it easier for development teams to handle document editing, generation, extraction, and capture.
In the Server SDK, new capabilities include Markdown output for Smart Data Extraction, which preserves document structure and hierarchy for downstream ingestion, retrieval, AI, and data workflows without an additional conversion step. The Server SDK also introduces a high-level Document Generation API that generates multi-page PDFs with elements such as headers, footers, images, hyperlinks, shapes, and charts without the need for low-level coordinate-based drawing code.
For the Web SDK, Apryse has introduced a DOCX Editor highlighting feature for lightweight text review, as well as comments and threaded replies that now extend to Spreadsheet Editor, providing a consistent way to collaborate across PDF, DOCX, and Excel files. The Web SDK also includes faster DOCX search and replace and a more responsive WebViewer Content Edit experience. Additionally, the SDK now offers expanded AEC stamp APIs with image and vector support and improved stamp management.
In the Scanbot SDK, new capabilities include Barcode Reconstruction, which helps recover data from damaged barcodes and reduce the need for rescans or manual entry. The SDK also features Document Cleanup, which removes unwanted artifacts such as fingers, marks, and hole punches from scanned documents. Furthermore, the Scanbot SDK now supports landscape orientation for tablets, kiosks, unfolded foldables, and ChromeOS, as required by Android 17.
Apryse provides developers and organizations with the technology to build, scale, and automate document workflows across the entire document lifecycle. With support for viewing, editing, conversion, data extraction, OCR, redaction, digital signatures, collaboration, and more than 100 file formats, Apryse helps organizations embed powerful document capabilities directly into their applications.
