RAMSEY, N.J., Oct. 6, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- AppWork, the maintenance operations and risk management platform for multifamily property management, has introduced a new feature called Enriched Completion Notes. This feature automatically transforms the brief, often vague completion notes written by technicians into comprehensive, professional updates for residents and reliable records for operators.
The launch of Enriched Completion Notes addresses a long-standing issue in the multifamily maintenance industry. Technicians typically jot down quick, often incomplete notes such as "Fixed," "Replaced lights," or "Reset breaker." These notes are often dismissive to residents and insufficient for operators to generate useful reports, detect repeat issues, or provide coaching to technicians. The new feature aims to bridge this gap by leveraging AppWork Intelligence, the company's suite of AI tools.
Enriched Completion Notes operates in the cloud, immediately rewriting every Work Order completion note. It takes into account the technician's original note, the Work Order's description, category, photos, logged parts, and timeline. The system then produces a detailed note, written in the technician's voice, that explains what was found, what was done, and the result. It corrects spelling and grammar, removes slang and unprofessional language, and replaces terms that could create legal liability with plain descriptions of what was observed. The original note remains preserved on every Work Order and is easily accessible for staff.
For operators, Enriched Completion Notes offers several benefits. It ensures that residents receive clear and detailed updates about the work done, confirming that reported issues have been addressed. It provides consistent, structured notes that make Work Order history usable for reporting and portfolio analysis. The feature also enhances risk management by removing liability-creating language and flagging sensitive notes, incomplete repairs, pending parts, and repeat issues. Additionally, it offers operational visibility to managers through badges on the Work Order that highlight what needs a second look.
The new feature is currently live for all AppWork clients at no additional cost.
AppWork's Enriched Completion Notes represents a significant step forward in improving communication and operational efficiency in multifamily property maintenance. By transforming brief, vague notes into detailed, professional updates, the feature enhances both resident satisfaction and operator effectiveness.
