Antioch Raises $32M for Physical AI Simulation Platform

Antioch, a simulation platform for physical AI, has raised $32 million in Series A funding led by Greylock, with additional backing from A*, Category Ventures, Box Group, and Icehouse Ventures. The round also includes prominent angel investors such as Shyam Sankar, CTO at Palantir; Adrian Macneil, CEO of Foxglove; and Ian Andrews, an NVIDIA executive and former Groq executive.
Founded by second-time founders with experience at Tesla and Meta Reality Labs, Antioch is headquartered in New York. The company's platform enables robotics and autonomy teams to develop, test, and validate AI systems in high-fidelity simulation, scaling from a single experiment to thousands of parallel evaluations before real-world deployment. Antioch's platform allows enterprises to accelerate development, increase test coverage, and bring new capabilities to production faster.
Antioch is already working with leading physical AI teams, including Amazon's Ring. According to Jason Mitura, VP of Software Development at Amazon and Ring CPO, Antioch's simulations have closely matched their physical test results, including in scenarios they deliberately held out of calibration. This confidence lets them move more testing and development into simulation, reducing reliance on costly physical test programs, accelerating engineering cycles, and enabling their teams to focus on delivering better products for customers.

Antioch's platform is designed to address the significant bottleneck of physical validation in the physical AI industry. Simulation promises to accelerate development, but today's platforms lack the necessary fidelity and scale to accurately predict real-world performance. Antioch's solution takes autonomous systems from design to validation to mass deployment in a single simulation environment, closing the sim-to-real gap.

Antioch is partnering with NVIDIA and integrating the company's open Physical AI stack, including NVIDIA Omniverse libraries and open robotics simulation and learning frameworks such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab. This partnership aims to help developers scale testing across thousands of simulated scenarios and accelerate end-to-end robotics development.
The funding will accelerate Antioch's product development, expand its engineering team, and deepen its simulation capabilities as demand grows across robotics, drones, industrial automation, fixed perception, and other Physical AI applications. With its focus on high-fidelity simulations and its partnership with leading industry players, Antioch is poised to play a significant role in the advancement of physical AI.
