Andersen Corporation appoints Kelly McLain as senior vice president and chief legal officer

BAYPORT, Minn., Sept. 1, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Andersen Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high-performance windows and doors, has announced the appointment of Kelly McLain as senior vice president and chief legal officer, effective September 2026. McLain will lead the company’s legal function and serve as a member of Andersen’s executive committee, succeeding Andrea Nordaune, who will retire after a distinguished 30-year career with the company.
McLain joined Andersen in 2025 as vice president and general counsel for the Andersen Division, where she quickly became a trusted advisor to business leaders across the organization. Her new role will encompass the company’s legal strategy and operations, supporting Andersen’s long-term growth and strategic objectives.
Prior to her role at Andersen, McLain served as associate general counsel at Cargill, Incorporated, and as a litigation senior associate at Robins Kaplan LLP, where she focused on complex litigation. She also clerked for Chief Judge Michael Davis of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
“Kelly is an exceptional leader with deep legal expertise and a proven track record of business acumen and collaboration,” said Chris Galvin, chairman and CEO of Andersen Corporation. “Since joining Andersen, she has shown a strong understanding of our business, culture, and strategic priorities. We are excited to have Kelly lead our legal organization and help guide Andersen’s continued success.”
McLain earned her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin. She is actively involved in her community and has held leadership roles with The Fund for Legal Aid and Advocates for Human Rights.

Andersen’s outgoing senior vice president and chief legal officer, Andrea Nordaune, will retire after 30 years of dedicated service. “Over the past three decades, Andrea has played a vital role in Andersen’s success, helping to navigate the company through various challenges and opportunities,” said Galvin. “We are profoundly grateful for her leadership, partnership, and the lasting legacy she leaves behind.”
