SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 1, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Amy Green, Hopelab's Head of Research, has been honored as a 2026 Fierce 50 Health Equity honoree by Fierce Pharma, Fierce Biotech, and Fierce Healthcare. Now in its fourth year, the Fierce 50 recognizes individuals and organizations driving advancements in medicine and health care, fostering innovation, and shaping the future of the biopharma and health care industries.
Ayla Ellison, editor-in-chief of Fierce Life Sciences and Healthcare, highlighted the diverse impact of this year's honorees. "Progress in this industry doesn't come from just one place," she said. "It's showing up in the lab, in executive leadership, in community clinics, and in advocacy work that never makes headlines. Whether it's a biotech pushing a new therapy toward patients or a grassroots organization fighting for someone to get the care they need, these honorees remind us that impact takes a lot of different shapes."
Dr. Green, a clinical psychologist with over two decades of experience in youth mental health, is a key figure in implementation science and research methodology. At Hopelab, she focuses on amplifying the voices of young people to guide the development of policies and programs that reflect their needs and lived experiences. Earlier this year, she testified before the California State Assembly Privacy and Consumer Protection Committee on the impact of social media on LGBTQ+ young people, drawing from Hopelab’s National Survey research and a recent national poll on youth well-being. Previously, Dr. Green served as Vice President of Research at The Trevor Project, where she led research to advance crisis services, peer support programs, and advocacy efforts for LGBTQ+ young people.
Jaspal Sandhu, President and CEO of Hopelab, said, "Amy's recognition as a Fierce 50 honoree is a testament to the heart and rigor she contributes each and every day. Her extraordinary ability to bridge research with advocacy reflects her expertise and her commitment to building a future where young people are thriving. We're incredibly proud to see her contributions recognized nationally."
The Fierce 50 honorees, chosen by the editors of Fierce Pharma, Fierce Biotech, and Fierce Healthcare, reflect the breadth of talent and vision shaping the biopharma and health care industries today. From startups to established organizations, each honoree has made a distinct contribution, whether by advancing scientific discovery, improving the health of communities, expanding access to care, or reimagining how health care is delivered at a local or global level.
Hopelab, a researcher, investor, and convener dedicated to fostering greater mental health and well-being outcomes for Brown, Black, and Queer young people, continues to drive meaningful change in the health equity landscape.
