AMSYS Launches FusionCore for Real-Time Spatial Data Management

AMSYS has launched FusionCore, a platform that transforms lidar and spatial data into a live operational twin of physical spaces. This innovative solution aims to provide teams with a comprehensive, real-time view of activity across physical environments, enabling them to respond to incidents more quickly and reduce operational risks.

FusionCore processes 3D data to detect and track objects in real time, placing each one on a digital map of the site. This data is then turned into actionable events that teams can monitor, analyze, and automate. The platform supports privacy-conscious monitoring by focusing on position and movement rather than faces, making it suitable for public spaces.

One of the key features of FusionCore is its ability to build a live 3D operational twin of the monitored space. This twin integrates real-time perception data, replacing separate camera feeds and dashboards with a unified view of the site. The platform also offers precise detection and tracking capabilities, using lidar to follow people, vehicles, and assets in real time. Crowd, congestion, and movement analytics are provided to show how spaces are actually used.

FusionCore goes beyond mere data collection by flagging significant events as they happen. Configurable zones and rules can be set up to surface safety-zone breaches, congestion, and unusual activity, thereby shortening the time from detection to response. The platform also correlates spatial events with enterprise data for anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and AI-generated recommendations. This integration ensures that the response can be automated, streamlining the process and enhancing efficiency.

FusionCore is designed for complex environments where safety, flow, and asset visibility are critical. It is applicable in a wide range of settings, including airports, transit systems, stadiums, manufacturing plants, warehouses, campuses, and critical infrastructure. The platform supports various use cases, from passenger flow and workforce safety to asset utilization and incident response.

Developed in collaboration with SEYOND, FusionCore combines the expertise of AMSYS's Enterprise AI team with SEYOND's lidar sensing technology. The platform is packaged and delivered through AMSYS 713, the group's product studio for emerging technology. Each part of the platform plays a defined role: SEYOND provides the perception layer that understands the physical world, while FusionCore provides the location intelligence and operational twin capabilities. AMSYS Enterprise AI then applies AI, automation, and decision intelligence to move organizations from reactive operations to predictive and ultimately autonomous operations.
