AMSYS GmbH & Co. KG, a German company specializing in sensor technology, has expanded its portfolio with a range of pressure sensors designed for various applications. These sensors, including the MS5849, MS5607, AMS 4710, and AMS 4711, cater to different measurement needs, from absolute pressure to differential pressure.

The MS5849, a digital OEM sensor, serves as an example for absolute pressure measurement. This sensor, with a 24-bit digital output, is housed in a chlorine-resistant gel coating, making it suitable for harsh environments. It measures absolute pressure and offers pressure ranges up to 30 bar, communicating via I2C or SPI interfaces.

For low-range gauge pressure applications, the TPS-LP series from AMSYS is a compact solution. These sensors, available in a SOIC-16 package, can be easily mounted on PCBs using surface-mount technology (SMT). They provide calibrated analog and digital readings, making them ideal for applications such as pneumatic systems and hydrostatic level measurement in open or atmospherically vented tanks.

When two pressure points need to be compared, the AMS 4711 differential pressure transmitter is a robust choice. This transmitter, calibrated and temperature-compensated, offers a 0-5 V output signal and is housed in an IP67 plastic housing for screw mounting. It is designed for integration in challenging media and provides a high level of integration compared to other OEM sensors.

AMSYS's product range also includes the MS5607, a compact 24-bit pressure sensor for precise altitude measurement. This sensor, with an extended pressure range of 10 to 2000 mbar, is particularly useful in applications like altimeters and data loggers. For barometric applications, the sensor covers a range of 300 to 1100 mbar, ensuring accurate measurements.

In addition to pressure sensors, AMSYS offers a variety of other sensors, including humidity and temperature modules. The HTU3500 and HTU3800 series from TE Connectivity are designed for home appliances, medical devices, and other OEM applications. The HTU3500 operates with analog outputs, while the HTU3800 provides digital readings via I2C.

The company's AMS 4516 is a compact wireless differential pressure sensor, ideal for situations where wired retrofitting is difficult. This sensor enables measurement data to be transmitted via Bluetooth, making it easy to read out data from various devices, even in hard-to-reach locations.

AMSYS's product lineup also includes the ME800 ceramic differential pressure sensor, which is resistant to chemically challenging media. This sensor combines a 96% alumina ceramic diaphragm with an analog bridge signal, offering a response time of no more than one millisecond.

Lastly, AMSYS will showcase new meteorological sensor technologies at the AMS 2020 conference in Boston, MA. These innovations, including IoT micro-weather stations, are designed to meet strict measurement guidelines of the National Weather Service (NWS) and World Meteorological Organization (WMO) for long-term global warming observations.

AMSYS continues to expand its sensor technology offerings, providing solutions for a wide range of applications and industries.
