Ontario, (Newsfile Corp. - September 18, 2026) - Americas Gold and Silver Corporation has announced high-grade silver and copper discoveries at its Galena Complex in Idaho, marking significant progress in its ongoing exploration efforts. The discoveries include a new vein on the operating 49 level, which has returned impressive grades, and a new vein in the 9 Vein area.

The 49 level discovery, 49-817, intersected 1.2 meters of 1,061 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 0.7% copper, and 0.6% antimony. This discovery is particularly exciting as it is very close to the minimum mining width for the company's ongoing transition to long hole stoping.

Additionally, the 9 Vein system has seen a new discovery, with the 24-407 intersecting 0.4 meters of 7,123 g/t silver, 3.24% copper, and 1.81% antimony. This discovery is noteworthy as it was found in an area without any previous vein projections, highlighting the potential for new discoveries at Galena.

At the Coeur Mine, the 520 Vein system continues to grow, with recent drilling expanding the 2025 discovery to 200 meters along strike and 200 meters in vertical extent. The company notes that all its drilling at Galena in 2026 has focused on in-mine exploration above the 6,000-foot level. With neighboring operating mines extending deeper than 10,000 feet, the company remains optimistic about the potential below its existing operations.

At the Crescent Mine, the company has completed 45 surface and underground core holes, with 12 holes being reported and 33 drillholes still pending final assays. The focus of the 2026 infill drill campaign at Crescent is to confirm high-grade ore shoots hosted within the historically mined Alhambra and South Veins to support ongoing mine planning. Two new veins were intersected by holes SF-002 and SF-003, and SF-014 and SF-017, warranting additional follow-up drilling to better define their potential scale and grade.

Huet added, "Our recent drilling across the Galena Complex has continued to deliver exceptional results. These new discoveries, coupled with the ongoing infill drilling, are a testament to the significant value that can be realized through systematic exploration and disciplined capital allocation."

The company's flagship Galena Complex is one of the United States' premier silver mining districts and includes the nation's largest antimony mine. The Crescent Silver Mine, located nearby, hosts one of the world's highest-grade silver resources and offers significant future growth potential through shared infrastructure and processing. Through a 51/49 joint venture, Americas Gold and Silver is developing a fully integrated domestic antimony supply chain from mine to finished product.

The company's Cosalá Operations in Sinaloa, Mexico, are also scaling production at the EC120, a high-grade silver-copper mine. With a strong balance sheet and multiple high-quality growth projects, Americas Gold and Silver is well positioned to increase silver and antimony production while supplying the critical minerals needed to support the next generation of AI infrastructure, energy systems, and advanced industrial technologies.
