Amaroq Ltd. announces total voting rights as of September 1, 2026
Amaroq Ltd., an independent mine development company focused on unlocking Greenland’s mineral potential, has announced the total voting rights as of September 1, 2026. The company’s issued share capital now consists of 466,316,513 common shares of no par value, each carrying voting rights. This figure, which is unchanged due to the absence of common shares in treasury, will be used by shareholders to determine if they are required to notify their interest or any change in interest in the company’s share capital.
Amaroq’s primary asset is the 100% owned and operated Nalunaq Gold mine in Greenland. The company’s exploration portfolio includes opportunities in gold, copper, nickel, and rare earth elements in South Greenland, as well as zinc, lead, silver, germanium, and gallium in West Greenland. Notably, the West Greenland Hub features the past-producing zinc-lead-silver mine at Maarrmorilik and the nearby Kangerluarsuk exploration licence, along with the Minturn Iron Oxide Copper Gold prospect in northwest Greenland.
Amaroq’s strategy is to develop and explore its broader portfolio while fostering the growth of a responsible, full-cycle mining company. To support this, the company operates Suliaq, which provides mining services and logistics capabilities for Greenland’s developing mining sector. Additionally, Amaroq has a stake in IMEQ Aps, Greenland’s first private hydroelectric project, furthering its commitment to sustainable mining practices.
The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and Nasdaq Iceland under the ticker AMRQ, and on OTCQX under AMRQF. The share capital figure announced today reflects the exercise of expiring share options and will be crucial for shareholders in determining their reporting obligations.
