AlphaRoute, a provider of transportation management software and route optimization services for K-12 school districts, has expanded its footprint in the Southeastern United States by partnering with five new district schools. The company has signed agreements with Atlanta Public Schools, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Selma City, Jasper City, and Fairfield City Schools.

These new partnerships reflect AlphaRoute's growing influence in the region, as the company now serves a diverse range of districts, from large urban centers to smaller city communities. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, one of the largest districts in the country, will be using AlphaRoute's services to manage its extensive transportation network, which includes roughly 700 buses serving more than 100,000 students. Meanwhile, smaller city districts like Selma and Jasper will also benefit from AlphaRoute's comprehensive software solutions.

According to Alex Kapcar, Head of Sales at AlphaRoute, the company's momentum in the Southeast is a testament to its ability to support transportation operations of any size.

The new partnerships span districts of vastly different scales. AlphaRoute's services will be integrated into a mix of core modules, including AlphaPlan for route management, AlphaPortal for parent communication and bus tracking, AlphaView for dispatch and vehicle visibility, and AlphaDrive as their driver app. Several districts are also installing GPS units and in-vehicle tablets as part of their rollout.

John Hanlon, CEO of AlphaRoute, expressed excitement about the company's growth in the Southeast.

Prior to this expansion, AlphaRoute was best known in the region for its bus route optimization work, particularly in Florida, where clients have included Polk County and Collier County among others. A project with Manatee County, south of the Tampa area, helped the district cut its fleet from 108 buses to 94. AlphaRoute also serves parent-app customers in Louisiana, and its prior relationship with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools was significantly expanded this year through a new contract spanning additional software applications.

As AlphaRoute continues to grow its presence across the Southeast, the company remains focused on one goal: helping districts of every size get students to school safely, efficiently, and on time. Its cloud-based platform includes tools for school bus routing and planning, real-time dispatch with GPS and student tracking, field trip management, and districtwide communications. It also provides mobile apps for parents and drivers, and it recently launched a breakthrough called Alphie AI, an intelligent assistant that supports operational visibility and data-driven decision-making.

Built on operations research, machine learning, and advanced analytics, AlphaRoute helps districts improve routing efficiency and eliminate driver shortages. Known for its collaborative approach and responsive customer support, AlphaRoute partners with districts to modernize transportation operations and improve outcomes for students and families.
