Belleville, Illinois, Oct. 13, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Allsup, a leader in nationwide disability representation services, is proud to announce its continued support of the Invisible Disabilities® Association’s (IDA) 19th Annual Awards Celebration. The virtual global event, scheduled to stream live worldwide on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 5 p.m. MDT and 7 p.m. EDT, will highlight the experiences of people living with illnesses, pain, and disabilities that may not be apparent to others. This year’s theme, “I Am Invisible No More,” calls attention to the challenges faced by individuals whose health conditions often go unseen by others.

The event will recognize individuals and organizations whose advocacy, education, and innovation help improve the lives of people with invisible disabilities. Allsup, a company that has worked with individuals whose serious health conditions prevent them from working for more than 42 years, is proud to continue supporting IDA and its mission to change the way the world sees disabilities.

The 19th Annual Awards Celebration will feature a series of award honorees, each representing a unique aspect of invisible disabilities. One of these honorees is Marissa Luna, a country-pop singer-songwriter and founder of the “More Than Meets the Eye” campaign. Luna is being recognized for her use of her platform to advocate for and inspire people living with invisible disabilities, drawing on her personal experiences managing three learning disabilities, optic drusen, and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). Her work encourages others to embrace their ongoing health journeys without fear or shame.

Another honoree is Dr. Sam Shay, a functional medicine clinician, educator, and advocate. He is being recognized for his work helping individuals better understand neurological health and neurodivergence. Shay combines clinical expertise, advocacy, and therapeutic humor, including his comedy special “NeuroSpicy,” to increase understanding of neuroinvisible conditions.

Dr. Christina Hibbert, a clinical psychologist, author, and advocate, is being honored for bridging professional mental health expertise with authentic patient advocacy. Hibbert offers practical psychological tools and honest guidance for people managing lifelong health challenges through her Reluctant Warrior platform.

Biff Gore, a U.S. Army veteran with a doctorate in public health, is being honored for his dedication to supporting his family through the daily challenges of Lyme disease and multiple chemical sensitivities (MCS). He lives a fragrance-free lifestyle and educates his church and community about chemical irritants in everyday products, including colognes and perfumes, in support of IDA’s CleanerIndoorAir.org campaign. A professional musician, Gore also serves as host and performer for IDA’s annual celebration, where he shares his family’s story on stage.

Heidi Hanna, an integrative neuroscientist and author, is being honored for her work exploring the relationship between brain health, stress, and therapeutic humor. Her work helps individuals experiencing chronic illness and other invisible challenges use humor and neuroscience-based strategies to support resilience and well-being.

Dr. Jessica Drummond, an integrative physical therapist and founder of The Integrative Women’s Health Institute, is being recognized for pioneering evidence-based lifestyle approaches for complex pelvic health conditions and invisible disabilities. Her programs translate research on nervous system regulation, gut health, and chronic pain into practical, everyday wellness strategies for patients and practitioners.

Dr. Izabella Wentz, a clinical pharmacist and bestselling author, is being honored for her contributions to autoimmune education and thyroid health awareness. Her own experience living with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis has informed her books, resources, and advocacy, helping people worldwide better understand and manage chronic systemic conditions.

Guava Health, a technology platform designed to help people with chronic illnesses and invisible disabilities organize and understand their health information, is being recognized for its innovative approach. The platform brings together medical records, patient portal information, wearable data, and symptom tracking. Guava Health also partners with IDA on the Invisible Disabilities® Medical ID Card and emergency profile.
