Allegion Launches Allegion Optimize for Enhanced Security Device Management

Allegion US has introduced a groundbreaking mobile application, Allegion Optimize™, which integrates with the company’s security solutions, including the recently updated LCN Senior Swing Series Auto Operator. This new tool aims to enhance efficiency and streamline the management and maintenance of connected security devices.
The LCN Senior Swing Series Auto Operator, now updated with the latest firmware, is the first to incorporate Allegion Optimize. The application offers a comprehensive suite of features, allowing installers and facility teams to calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot the device with ease, significantly improving the precision and safety of maintenance operations.
According to Emily Zentz, Allegion’s product manager for automatic operators, "Optimize is designed to address the evolving needs of the facility management workforce. As we anticipate significant retirements in the industry, it’s crucial that technology keeps pace with the expectations of new professionals. Optimize provides a modern, user-friendly interface that supports the entire lifecycle of our products."
Zentz elaborated on the application’s capabilities: "With Optimize, users can perform in-app calibration, access diagnostic tools, and manage firmware updates. This means that once the LCN Senior Swing is installed, the installer can run the calibration cycle directly from the app. This not only saves time but also ensures that the door operates optimally without the need for ladder access or cover removal."
The application also offers robust troubleshooting features. "When a user encounters an issue, Optimize provides detailed error codes and notifications, allowing them to quickly review and address the problem before contacting technical support," Zentz explained. "This reduces the time spent on resolving issues and enhances overall operational efficiency."
Allegion Optimize is not limited to the LCN Senior Swing. It is designed to unify the management of multiple Allegion connected devices, simplifying the commissioning, configuration, and ongoing maintenance across various product categories. The company plans to support additional auto operators and electronic locks through Optimize in the coming months.
Emily Zentz continued, "Allegion Optimize is the future of device management. It represents a significant step forward in how we approach security and access control solutions, providing a seamless experience that enhances both efficiency and safety."
Allegion, a global leader in security solutions, continues to innovate in response to the evolving demands of the market. With Allegion Optimize, the company aims to provide a more intuitive and comprehensive toolset for maintaining and managing connected security devices.
