Ajeet Releases New Album Slánú Ahead of Oprah Winfrey Appearance

WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, October 9, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Ajeet, an Irish-American songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, has released her new album, Slánú, today, October 9, via Spirit Voyage Records. The album, created over three years in her home studio on the west coast of Ireland, is a deeply personal exploration of healing and resilience, accompanied by a new music video.

Ajeet's journey to create Slánú was marked by a period of profound change. During the album's creation, she underwent three major surgeries for severe endometriosis while reconnecting with the landscape, language, and community that shaped her early life. The album's title, Slánú, is an Irish word that connects to healing, recovery, and completion, themes that took on deeply personal meaning as the album evolved.

Slánú features collaborations with Scottish singer-songwriter Rachel Sermanni and Irish harpist Aisling Urwin, as well as a Spanish-language collaboration with Barcelona-based artist Alex Serra. These collaborations reflect the album's movement across cultures, languages, and musical traditions. Ajeet produced and mixed Slánú, performing vocals, guitar, piano, percussion, and bouzouki throughout the album.

In addition to the album, Ajeet has released a new music video for "only you know where peace is," a song she wrote in a single day for a dear friend experiencing heartbreak. The video is an intimate reflection on friendship and the quiet strength of being loved, celebrating the relationships that help us find courage, trust ourselves, and recognize the answers we already carry within us.

Ajeet's next major milestone in her international career is her appearance at Oprah Winfrey's AHA at Sphere in Las Vegas, scheduled for April 2-4, 2027. This appearance marks a significant step in Ajeet's career, bringing together music, storytelling, art, and technology in an immersive production.

Ajeet's music crosses contemporary songwriting, acoustic tradition, and immersive sound, and her work has built an international audience across traditional genre boundaries. The release of Slánú is a new chapter for an independent artist whose music has established her as a force in the industry.

The album is available worldwide now via Spirit Voyage Records.
