Detroit, Michigan, Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (AITX), a developer and operator of AI-driven security and productivity solutions for enterprise clients, has announced the appointment of security industry veteran Tom Reilly to lead the strategy for new integrator and distribution channels. This move is part of AITX’s broader strategy to expand its market reach and drive growth through partnerships with systems integrators and distributors.

Reilly, who brings nearly 20 years of experience in building and running businesses, will focus on developing and executing strategies for these new channels. His mandate includes analyzing AITX’s existing channels to deepen market penetration and working closely with the company’s sales organization to ensure successful implementation. Reilly’s background includes serving as President of Commend Americas, the Americas business of security communications manufacturer Commend, from 2019 to 2026. Prior to that, he spent nine years with EY’s financial services practice and joined AITX in 2009 as the Northeast Regional Manager.

AITX, led by CEO/CTO and founder Steve Reinharz, is redefining the nearly $50 billion U.S. security and guarding services industry with its AI-driven Solutions-as-a-Service model. The company’s AI-driven RAIA™ and SARA™ solutions are designed to complement and, in many cases, replace human personnel in environments better suited for machines. These solutions are built to integrate with leading industry platforms and workflows, offering cost savings of between 35% and 80% compared to traditional manned security and monitoring.

Reilly’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to enhance AITX’s channel partnerships and drive growth.

AITX’s solutions are deployed across a wide range of industries, including enterprises, government, transportation, critical infrastructure, education, and healthcare. The company’s primary subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD), has seen recent expansion orders from logistics, property management, and healthcare clients. Reilly’s first deliverable will be a channel strategy with measurable milestones to support the company’s goal of reaching positive operating cash flow in December 2026.
