ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 8, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Air Canada has chosen Traverse to support direct booking for corporate travelers through its new self-service business travel platform, Air Canada Embarq. This move aims to provide a more connected and flexible experience for business travelers while enabling companies to track spend and access corporate program benefits.

Air Canada Embarq is designed for Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises and nonprofit organizations. By partnering with Traverse, the airline will offer business travelers the convenience of booking directly, while ensuring that companies maintain visibility into their travel expenses and can apply their travel policies. In the future, companies will also be able to use corporate forms of payment through the platform.

Air Canada is part of a growing list of travel brands using Traverse solutions. Other companies include Aeromexico, Alaska Airlines/Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines, Choice Hotels, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and WestJet.

ARC, which expanded its solutions for corporate travel on January 1, 2026, now processes over $100 billion in U.S.-based agency air sales annually. ARC leads industry collaboration between airlines, agencies, corporate buyers, and other partners to enable a thriving industry ecosystem.

This partnership is part of Air Canada's ongoing efforts to enhance its digital offerings and provide a seamless travel experience for its corporate customers. By integrating direct booking into its platform, Air Canada aims to streamline the travel process and offer greater control and visibility to its business travelers and their organizations.
