ALPHARETTA, Ga., Sept. 30, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Mynd.ai, a leading provider of interactive technology solutions, today announced the launch of AI Companion for its Explore Everything app. This innovative feature, powered by on-device artificial intelligence enabled by opting in to Apple Intelligence, is designed to assist educators in creating tailored teaching materials with unprecedented speed and efficiency.
The AI Companion, available now on compatible Apple devices, allows teachers to select any element on an Explain Everything page, including text, images, or drawings, and generate content that seamlessly fits into their lesson plans. This includes lesson plans, quizzes, and vocabulary lists, as well as suggested next steps and activities that deepen understanding. The generated content is placed directly within the Explain Everything canvas, enabling teachers to adapt and incorporate it into their lessons without leaving the platform.
One of the most significant features of AI Companion is its ability to create audio narrations, translate text for learners whose first language is not English, and generate accessibility descriptions. This ensures that educators can respond to different needs without relying on additional tools, thus providing a more inclusive and accessible learning environment.
AI Companion works entirely on the user's device, ensuring that data never leaves the device. This feature not only enhances privacy and security but also allows teachers to use the tool wherever they work, whether in the classroom or remotely. Furthermore, schools can avoid the additional privacy administration associated with third-party processing, making the tool more secure and user-friendly.
Explain Everything, a leading lesson creation and delivery software, has been recognized by Apple as an App Store Editors' Choice and has been downloaded more than 25 million times worldwide. The platform brings together content creation, presentation, recording, and collaboration on an infinite canvas. AI Companion joins intelligent tools such as Image Playground, Isolate Subject, Recognize Drawings, and Scan Text, supporting image generation, subject isolation, drawing recognition, and the digitization of handwritten notes.
The AI Companion is available to Explain Everything Advanced and Pro users at no additional cost. The platform, which has been recognized by Apple as an App Store Editors' Choice, has been downloaded more than 25 million times worldwide and is used in over 126 countries. The company's global distribution network of more than 4,000 reseller partners and dedicated sales and support teams ensure that customers receive the highest level of service.
