BERLIN, Oct. 27, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- On 21 October, Agile Robots and NVIDIA unveiled the Agile ONE SN humanoid at NVIDIA GTC Berlin. This research-grade humanoid is built on the NVIDIA Isaac GR00T development platform, marking a significant advancement in the field of robotics. The 1.4-metre, 43-kilogram Agile ONE SN features dual WUJI tactile five-finger hands and a total of 71 degrees of freedom, making it a versatile platform for research and development.
Agile Robots has also introduced its new Diana 7 and Diana 3 arms, both of which support the Franka Control Interface (FCI). The Diana 7 extends the capabilities of the Franka Research 3 by offering a higher payload and reach, while the Diana 3 brings the same force-control platform to entry-level research. Both arms share ±0.05 mm repeatability and 0.5 N relative force-control accuracy, ensuring precision in their operations. The Diana 7, which was showcased at the 26th China International Industry Fair in Shanghai (12-16 October), offers a 7 kg payload and a 923 mm reach, weighing 2 kg less than its predecessor.
At the Invest in Germany Summit in Berlin, two days prior to the launch, NVIDIA announced plans to invest in Agile Robots. This investment underscores NVIDIA’s commitment to advancing robotics and artificial intelligence technologies. Agile Robots, founded in Munich in 2018 by robotics researchers from the German Aerospace Center (DLR), now employs more than 3,500 people worldwide. With its subsidiaries BÄR Automation, Franka Robotics, idealworks, and Krause Automation, Agile Robots covers all areas of AI-driven robotics.
The Agile ONE SN is designed to be a complete humanoid platform, ready for use from day one. It runs on NVIDIA Jetson Thor and ships with the GR00T 1.7 open VLA model. Skills developed on the Agile ONE SN can be transferred to the full-size industrial Agile ONE, making it a valuable tool for research and development labs around the world. Availability of the Agile ONE SN is planned for early 2027.
In a joint project with Audi, Agile Robots, AUDI AG, Dassault Systèmes, and NVIDIA are piloting the use of mobile humanoids at Audi's Ingolstadt plant. These humanoids are tasked with picking parts from containers and sequencing them for final assembly, a task performed approximately one million times a day. The workcell is first tested in a DELMIA virtual twin accelerated by NVIDIA Omniverse libraries, ensuring a seamless integration of the technology into Audi's logistics operations.
Agile Robots’ Diana 7 and Diana 3 arms, along with the Agile ONE SN humanoid, represent significant strides in the development of AI-powered robotics solutions. These innovations are expected to drive advancements in various industries, from manufacturing to healthcare, by enhancing precision, efficiency, and adaptability in robotic applications.
