Agencia Comercial Spirits Secures Major Contracts for Indonesian Data Center

Agencia Comercial Spirits Ltd, a Taiwanese company with operations in both premium whisky and AI computing infrastructure, has announced significant progress in its data center development in Indonesia. On August 28, 2026, the Indonesian subsidiary, PT. AGCC AITECH INDONESIA, issued two Letters of Award to separate contractors for the supply and installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) equipment for Phase 1A of the AGCC-JKT01 data center in West Java, Indonesia.

The Letters of Award, each with an aggregate reference amount ranging from US$65 million to US$75 million (excluding Indonesian value-added tax), are part of a broader strategy to develop AI computing infrastructure and cloud-based services in the Southeast Asian market. The company launched its AI Computing Infrastructure Initiative in February 2026, a strategic move that is now a co-primary business line alongside its established whisky operations.

According to Mr. TSAI Yi-Yang, CEO of Agencia, these Letters of Award are "another important step in the ongoing build-out of our AI computing infrastructure business, which we are developing in tandem with our established whisky operations." The Letters of Award are non-binding and will become effective only upon the formal execution of the applicable contract.
