African Healing Programs Launch at UN Summit

At the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81), intergenerational peace was fostered through the launch of two groundbreaking healing programs at the 777 UN Plaza. Among the notable figures honored at the event were HE Rev. Dr. Princess Ocansey, HE Dr. Joyce Banda, and HE Fatima Maada Bio, who were named on the 100 Powerlist of Most Influential and Iconic Women Leaders globally.

The Africa-US Presidential Forum, under the leadership of HE Rev. Dr. Princess Ocansey, continued its impactful partnership with the Forum, which since 2022 has prepared nearly 100 Malawian women for STEM, AI, and MBA programs in the United States. These women have attended top universities, including Duquesne, Pace, Stevens Institute of Technology, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and have now graduated with master's degrees and are earning six-figure salaries in their respective fields.

At the 777 UN Plaza, a mother-daughter dynamic duo, HE Rev. Dr. Princess Asie K. Ocansey and Olufunmilola Serwa Babalola - Ara Ẹni, launched two works for personal and global healing. The first work, "Wonders from Ghana's Volta River," is a children's trilogy authored by Ara Ẹni and Ocansey. The trilogy, grounded in Article 7 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, is the story of a nameless fish and a wrongly named whale who find identity, family, community, and belonging. The trilogy comes with a free Ghanaian name-chart tool, a popular Ghanaian game, and a completion certificate for young readers. Pre-orders for the trilogy will open on Amazon from October 1, 2026, and a USA tour with Royal Naming Ceremonies is scheduled for November 16 to December 16, 2026. The second work, "Royal Love 777: Heal Me, Heal My World," is a 7-day, 7x-a-day devotional for personal and global healing, servant leadership, and peace. Authored by HE Rev. Dr. Princess Asie K. Ocansey and foreworded by HE Dr. Joyce Banda, the program is based on John 13:14-15, 34-35 and Psalm 119:164-165. It calls for restoring day and night worship as a gateway to great peace. The book also calls for restoring day and night worship, as a gateway to great peace (Psalm 119:164-165). The evening was anchored in humility, with Bishop Jerry Ayiku Demmer of Absolute Word Church, Denver, officiating the Servant Leaders' Foot-Washing Ceremony and Communion, modeling servant leadership. The Federation of World Peace and Love's Bell of World Peace and Love was rung, led by Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, on behalf of the honorees and the distinguished guests present.

Later that afternoon, at the UNGA81 Women's Lounge, Dr. Joyce Banda and Princess Ocansey were inducted into the Justina Mutale Foundation's UNGA81 Powerlist of the 100 Most Powerful and Iconic Women Leaders in the World, presented in partnership with former Mauritius President Dr. Ameenah Gurib-Fakim. Sierra Leone's First Lady, HE Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, was named among the Iconic leaders.
