Affinor Growers Inc., a company focused on vertical farming technology, has appointed Dr. Hyder Khoja as an advisor to the firm. With over two decades of experience in biotechnology and sustainable agriculture, Dr. Khoja will bring his expertise to the company as it continues to refine its technology and explore new opportunities in controlled-environment crop production.

Dr. Khoja, a scientist and biotechnology entrepreneur, has a diverse background spanning pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, functional medicine, cannabis, agriculture, sustainability, and renewable energy. His work includes developing proprietary intellectual property in mycelium-based biomedical platforms and rapid-acting anxiolytic therapeutics. He has also secured major research funding, including a shortlisted US$50 million U.S. Department of Energy grant, and established research environments with GMP- and GLP-certified capabilities.

The grant is subject to the company's Stock Option Plan and the policies of the Canadian Securities Exchange.
