Affinor Growers Inc., a company focused on vertical farming technology, has appointed Dr. Hyder Khoja as an advisor to the firm. Dr. Khoja, a scientist and biotechnology entrepreneur, has a diverse background spanning pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, functional medicine, cannabis, agriculture, sustainability, and renewable energy. His work includes developing proprietary intellectual property in mycelium-based biomedical platforms and rapid-acting anxiolytic therapeutics. He has also secured major research funding, including a shortlisted US$50 million U.S. Department of Energy grant, and established research environments with GMP- and GLP-certified capabilities.

The grant is subject to the company's Stock Option Plan and the policies of the Canadian Securities Exchange.
