Aembit Expands Platform to Secure Personal AI Agents in Enterprise Environments

SILVER SPRING, Md., Oct. 06, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Aembit, the identity control plane for AI agents, has expanded its platform to secure access for personal AI agents within enterprise environments. This move addresses the growing use of personal AI assistants like Meta Muse and OpenAI Dots in workplace settings, where they can access sensitive company data through employee credentials.

The new feature allows organizations to manage and control personal AI agents by giving them a distinct identity that is separate from the employee's. This blended identity ensures that the agent can be recognized and controlled independently while still retaining the context of the employee it represents. By applying access policies at runtime, Aembit evaluates the agent, the user behind it, the requested resource, and applicable conditions before granting access. This dynamic evaluation helps mitigate risks such as unauthorized data exposure and activity that could be mistaken for the employee's own actions.

One of the key benefits of Aembit's solution is the ability to issue short-lived credentials for approved requests. This approach reduces the reliance on reusable secrets held by the agent, thereby minimizing the risk of credential misuse. Additionally, Aembit enables enterprises to extend their access control policies across various enterprise services, including SaaS applications, developer platforms, and internally built services. The platform also centralizes audit records, allowing security teams to trace which agent requested access, who it represented, what resource it reached, and which policy authorized the request.

David Goldschlag, CEO and co-founder of Aembit, emphasized the importance of this feature in a statement.

Aembit's solution is designed to provide enterprises with flexibility in where policy is enforced. Its architecture can work through the Aembit MCP Identity Gateway or with other gateways and enforcement points already deployed in the environment. Identity, authorization policy, and audit remain centralized in Aembit, while each access request can be evaluated dynamically and granted only the access needed for that interaction.

The platform currently supports Meta Muse and also secures access for agents and AI platforms including Microsoft Copilot Studio, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and custom LLM-based workflows. With this expansion, Aembit aims to help organizations confidently control access to sensitive resources across all the workloads that power their business.
