Adyton Reports Positive Drill Results Expanding Kabang Deposit on Feni Island

Adyton Resources Corporation has announced positive drill results from its ongoing exploration program at the Kabang deposit on Feni Island, Papua New Guinea. The company’s latest findings, including a 167-meter intercept grading 1.03 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold and 0.12% copper (1.14 g/t gold equivalent), validate historic drilling and provide further insight into the Kabang Au-Cu system.
The results from 12 holes confirm the continuity and grade of the mineralization, with the North-Eastern extension confirmed and open for expansion. The company is continuing step-out drilling to extend mineralization along strike to the northeast, with recent results including 92 meters grading 0.61 g/t gold and 0.07% copper (0.67 g/t gold equivalent) from 98 meters, and 162 meters grading 0.43 g/t gold and 0.06% copper (0.48 g/t gold equivalent) from 94 meters.
The South-Western extension of the Kabang deposit is now exposed at the surface, and the company is actively drilling multiple parallel mineralized zones at depth. This has increased the strike length of the mineralized structural corridor to approximately 2 kilometers, with the potential to triple the current footprint of the Kabang deposit.
Adyton’s CEO, Tim Crossley, stated, "Hole FDD026 is an outstanding result, delivering high-grade gold from surface and validating our historic results. Combined with the continued growth of the north-eastern and encouraging observations from the south-western extensions, we are seeing increased evidence of structurally controlled mineralized corridors extending both north and south. The Kabang system now spans more than 2 kilometers of strike length and remains open in both directions."
The company has also secured a new tenure, granting the neighboring Babase Exploration Licence (EL2863), which expands its Feni Islands district position by almost 40%. Additionally, a large-scale 5-kilometer by 5-kilometer ground-based combined 2D inline and offset 3D pole-dipole Induced Polarization (IP) survey is underway to target blind Au-Cu mineralization, Kabang-style repeats, and potential additional porphyry-style systems.
Crossley added, "With the Babase license now granted and our IP survey underway, we will be systematically advancing the search for additional Kabang-style systems across the Feni Islands. In parallel, we are targeting the deeper porphyry source that we believe could underpin the broader mineralizing system and further enhance the tier one potential of Feni."
The planned 2026 drill program at Feni is focused on unlocking the next phase of growth at Kabang, with key objectives of starting to upgrade the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) to indicated and documenting new extensions to the MRE, including testing high-grade potential to the northeast and southwest. Year to date, over 18,000 meters of drilling has been successfully completed, with ongoing drilling continuing to advance both key objectives.
Adyton is also exploring the porphyry potential via elevated molybdenum (Mo) in the southern flank, with significant molybdenum (1,205 parts per million) documented in holes 19 and 21. This points to a porphyry-style mineralized system to depth and is a key vectoring tool.
A large-scale 5-kilometer by 5-kilometer Induced Polarization (IP) geophysical survey is now underway, targeting priority Kabang and Lihir-type targets. The program combines central 2D inline pole-dipole IP data with offset pole-dipole measurements to improve subsurface coverage and support 3D interpretation. The survey will also help refine the direction and extent of the broader porphyry system identified at Kabang.
The company is actively drilling the structural corridor outside of the Kabang MRE to the southwest and northeast, with mineralization remaining open in both directions. Adyton anticipates that, if successful, this drilling could potentially triple the current footprint of the Kabang MRE, highlighting the potential for Kabang to evolve into a significantly larger mineralized system than previously recognized.
