Admiral Media, a creative performance marketing agency, has seen a significant shift in its visitor behavior, with a notable increase in leads from artificial intelligence (AI) platforms. According to a case study, visitors from AI assistants such as ChatGPT are 4.6 times more likely to contact the agency compared to its average visitor.
The company, which has been operating since 2019 and has managed over EUR 500 million in ad spend for more than 150 brands and 200 apps, conducted an experiment to optimize its website for AI tools. Led by Kevin Dosanjh, the AI Infrastructure Lead, the team made five key changes to its website to ensure it was easily readable by AI tools. These changes included providing clear information about the agency, ensuring every page was readable upon loading, fixing contradictory hidden labels, and writing content around the real questions buyers ask.
The results were impressive. Over the same period, Admiral Media's Google search impressions fell by 39% from their March peak, while visits from AI assistants grew more than fourfold between March and August. Currently, AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity are naming Admiral Media in about 3 in 10 answers, marking the highest share among the 15 agencies being monitored by Peec AI data from September 16 to 22, 2026.
Andre Kempe, the Founder and CEO of Admiral Media, emphasized the importance of making all three areas of user acquisition, feed, store, and answer, work together.
The company is now focusing on measuring the same effect on direct App Store visits and installs. Admiral Media continues to offer its AI ad creative services through its AI Creative Factory, app store optimization, and Apple Ads, while also enhancing its AI search visibility.
Admiral Media, a Meta Business Partner, Google Premier Partner, TikTok Marketing Partner, and Snap Certified Partner, is rated 4.9 on Clutch from 48 reviews and was named to The Drum Indie Agency 100 in 2026.
