NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- The Active Investment Company Alliance (AICA) is set to host its 8th Annual New York Roundtable on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 48 Wall Street. The full-day program, running from 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., will feature more than 35 invited speakers and moderators. AICA anticipates between 120 and 140 attendees, including financial advisors, registered investment advisors (RIAs), family offices, institutional allocators, fund sponsors, analysts, and service providers.
The roundtable will cover a range of topics, including the current state of listed business development companies (BDCs), the implications of the Saba decision on closed-end fund (CEF) governance, and the liquidity considerations in semi-liquid funds. Other highlights include discussions on the value across senior loans, CLO debt and equity, high yield, and municipal bonds. The event will also explore whether BDC discounts reflect credit risk or headlines about AI and software exposure, and how to distinguish between stronger and weaker managers.
AICA will provide up to 10 complimentary press passes to qualified members of the financial press. The passes cover the full program, breakfast, lunch, and the evening reception, plus assistance in arranging interviews with speakers. To qualify, applicants must be editorial staff at a publication, broadcast, or podcast covering investing, wealth management, or asset management. Freelancers should include a letter of assignment or recent published work. PR, marketing, and sales staff may register as attendees.
Registration for RIAs and financial advisors is $299 through October 30, then $399. Fund sponsors and service providers pay different rates. The event has a rich history, having featured 109 speakers and moderators from approximately 80 firms since 2019. AICA, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade association for listed closed-end funds, business development companies, interval funds, and tender offer funds, aims to advance education, advocacy, data transparency, and professional development in the industry.
The roundtable will conclude with a Lightning Round, where investors and analysts will deliver two-minute pitches followed by an audience vote. The event is expected to provide valuable insights and networking opportunities for attendees, making it a significant gathering for the investment community.
