Vancouver, BC, Sept. 16, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Aben Gold Corp. has completed its 2026 drill program at the Justin Gold-Tungsten Project in southeastern Yukon Territory. The company announced the successful completion of 1,390.9 meters of diamond drilling across eight holes over 36 operating days, surpassing the initial plan of 1,300 meters in six holes.
The 2026 program focused on two key target areas: the POW Zone gold-tungsten system and the Lost Ace high-grade gold target. Five holes were drilled at the POW Zone, while three holes were drilled at the Lost Ace Zone. Core cutting and sampling are ongoing, with the current hole, JN26-007, in progress.
Samples from the first three holes, JN26-001, JN26-002, and JN26-003, have been sent to Bureau Veritas and Actlabs for analysis. JN26-001 and JN26-002 were shipped on August 26 and 31, 2026, respectively, and received by the labs on the same days. JN26-003 was rushed to Kamloops Actlabs on September 9, 2026. The remaining samples from JN26-004 through JN26-008 are being prepared for subsequent dispatches.
Riley Trimble, the President and CEO of Aben Gold, expressed satisfaction with the program's progress. "We drilled both POW and Lost Ace, and have now sent JN26-003 on a rush basis. Our focus turns to receiving assays and using this new dataset to plan the next phase of work."
The 2026 program was designed to test the continuity and depth of gold-tungsten mineralization at the POW Zone and high-grade, structurally-controlled gold mineralization at Lost Ace. Historical drilling at the POW Zone has revealed significant mineralization, including 1.25 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold over 60.0 meters, including 2.47 g/t gold over 21.0 meters, in JN11-009, and 2.52 g/t gold with 29.53 grams per tonne (g/t) of silver over 12.0 meters in JN11-010. Subsequent tungsten re-assays returned 0.25% tungsten trioxide (WO₃) over the same 12.0 meter interval in JN11-010.
Milosz Mielniczuk, Vice President of Exploration and Qualified Person for Aben Gold, commented on the successful completion of the program. "I would like to extend a big thank you to the contractors who made this possible: Empire Drilling, Summit Air, Matrix, and Axiom. It was a pleasure working alongside you all, and we look forward to the 2027 season."
The Justin Gold-Tungsten Project, covering approximately 7,400 hectares, is 100% owned by Aben Gold. It is located in the Tombstone Gold-Tungsten Belt and broader Tintina Gold Province of southeastern Yukon, adjacent to Seabridge Gold’s 3 Aces Project. The project has a rich history of mineralization, with previous drilling highlighting the potential for significant gold and tungsten deposits.
