AAHRPP Accredits Second Mexican Organization: INCMNSZ

The Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP) has awarded full accreditation to the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán (INCMNSZ) in Mexico City. This marks the second organization in Mexico to earn AAHRPP accreditation, and the first of the 13 National Institutes of Health of the Mexican Ministry of Health to do so.

INCMNSZ joins more than 600 entities worldwide in committing to AAHRPP's robust standards for research involving human participants. The institute is now part of a global network of organizations that have demonstrated their commitment to high-quality research practices.

AAHRPP President and CEO Elyse I. Summers stated, "Every accreditation and reaccreditation affirms that, 25 years after AAHRPP's founding, AAHRPP accreditation is more valuable than ever. AAHRPP has accredited research entities across the U.S. and in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates. The organization's global reach highlights the importance of consistent standards in human research protection.
