EMERYVILLE, Calif., Sept. 11, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- 4DMT, a late-stage biotechnology company, has announced the granting of 96,000 Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) to seven new non-executive employees. The RSUs were awarded on September 8, 2026, as part of the company’s 2025 Employment Inducement Award Plan, as amended, under Rule 5635(c)(4) of The Nasdaq Global Market. This move is designed to attract and retain top talent as the company continues to advance its durable and disease-targeted therapeutics.

4DMT, headquartered in the biotechnology sector, is focused on developing innovative treatments for retinal vascular diseases and cystic fibrosis. The company’s lead product candidate, 4D-150, is in Phase 3 development for wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic macular edema. This therapy aims to provide multi-year sustained delivery of anti-VEGF biologics (aflibercept and anti-VEGF-C) with a single intravitreal injection, significantly reducing the treatment burden associated with current bolus injections.

The second product candidate, 4D-710, is a genetic medicine designed to deliver the CFTR transgene to the lungs of people with cystic fibrosis, demonstrating successful expression after aerosol delivery. The RSU grants are part of the company’s strategy to support its ongoing research and development efforts and to enhance its competitive edge in the biotechnology industry.

The RSUs granted to the new employees are subject to vesting conditions, which typically include a one-year holding period. This ensures that the employees remain committed to the company’s goals and objectives over the long term. The grant is intended to align the interests of the new hires with those of the company’s shareholders, fostering a collaborative and motivated workforce.

4DMT’s commitment to advancing durable and disease-targeted therapeutics is evident in its ongoing clinical trials and research initiatives. The company’s focus on patient-centric solutions and innovative treatment paradigms positions it as a leader in the biotechnology sector. With the addition of these new employees, 4DMT aims to further accelerate its progress and deliver transformative therapies to patients in need.
